Dr. Libby Wilson Interviewed in “Promote Yourself to CEO” Podcast: Is Your Business REALLY Working for you?

Oct 7, 2022 | Bulletin, Podcasts

The parallels between having a healthy business and having a healthy life are numerous.

Both take intention, planning, and consistency.

In both cases, you have to have a vision of where you want to go and continually take steps on the path to get you there.

Let your intuition guide you, but when you are stuck, instead of wasting time figuring it out alone, consider finding someone who has gone before you and figured it out already.

In this podcast episode of the CEO Collective, I share how I created a business that works not just for my patients, but also for me and my family.

I love this quote from the episode, “It’s not what you do once in a while that helps your business, it’s what you do consistently. Same with anything: your health, wellness, relationships. It’s not what you do once in a while. It’s what you do consistently that will make the biggest difference. I love that.”

In my old business, I used to “white knuckle” through.  I took care of everyone and everything except for myself. One day I just couldn’t do it anymore. I now have a business that works for me and my patients and it’s beautiful. I have a team of amazing women who help me so I can stay in my zone of genius and do the things that I’m uniquely qualified to do.

It isn’t complicated, but don’t confuse simple with easy–they definitely aren’t the same thing.

When it comes to my business and my health, I’m now focused on forever change instead of fast change.  I’m no longer interested in things I can’t continue long-term.

No more 30-day cleanses or challenges. No more working long nights and weekends leading to fatigue and burnout. I now choose consistent, manageable positive actions. I recognize that not all steps need to be forward, just more steps forward than backward.

Everything doesn’t need to be accomplished this month. If you make steady progress and don’t give up, the results in business and in health are amazing when you add in the compounding effect of time.

Enjoy the episode!
